Following a career in mental health care service management and specialist development, Jane undertook the MSc in Health Informatics at UCLan in 2008.  Since then, she has worked at UCLan, as a researcher in stroke care, a clinical trials administrator in the Lancashire Clinical Trials Unit and, since 2018, she has been a lecturer, specialising in health informatics, evidence for practice and research ethics.  Jane is the course leader for the MSc in Health Informatics and is working across the health and care sector to develop a wider understanding of informatics, digital health and digital transformation.
