François, consultant anaesthetist at University Hospital Monklands since 2009, holds an MBChB (University of Pretoria) and an MSc in Health Informatics (University of Sheffield). After serving as a military medical officer in South Africa, he transitioned to the UK, gaining extensive experience in paediatric anaesthesia, PICU and critical care retrieval. A Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, Francois is also a PhD researcher at the University of Strathclyde. He contributes significantly to clinical care, health informatics and safety in both public and private healthcare sectors.
