Debs Crohn, Head of Improvement NHS Orkney. Professionally qualified Health and Social Care strategic leader with over 25 years’ experience of working in the Public Sector. Significant experience of business transformation, governance, programme and project management, operational service delivery, strategic direction and operational developments in delivering and administering high value and high-profile programmes. Ability to identify and meet organisational needs. Skilled in translating strategic vision into practical action and delivering collective outstanding results. A Strategic leader who recognises that people matter.

Nick Crohn

Interim Director of Acute Services and Radiology Manager NHS Orkney

Nick Crohn, Interim Director of Acute Services and Radiology Manager at NHS Orkney. Graduate of the University of Salford Diploma of the College of Radiographers and University of Leeds, Master of Arts (M.A.) in Advanced Criminology. Senior lecturer at the University of Leeds. His causes Education, Health, Science and Technology.

Professor Lesley Holdsworth OBE

Physiotherapist, Awarded Order of the British Empire in 2020. Scottish Government’s national clinical lead for digital health and care

Lesley Holdsworth, a physiotherapist by background, was awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours. This award recognised her contribution to physiotherapy and health services. Professor Holdsworth is the Scottish Government’s national clinical lead for digital health and care and earlier in her career she was head of health services research for Scotland and director of NHS 24. She has had a lifelong interest in informatics and its critical role in driving improvement. Her current focus is on supporting the development of a digitally enabled workforce. Lesley is also leading a number of national, UK and global digital initiatives around standards/guidelines for digital practice and workforce development. She is also a council member and Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics and Chair of the Board of Bield, the largest Housing Association in Scotland. In 2018, she was named Scottish Digital Impact Leader and Digital Health’s UK Digital Team Leader of the year.

James Freed

Head of NHS Digital Academy

James Freed leads the Digital Academy for Health and Care, an organisation dedicated to supporting as many teams in health and care deliver more value tomorrow than they did today. He was the last Chief Digital and Information Officer for Health Education England and his career has taken him through Cancer Research, Change Management and Standards development. In 2017 James was voted by peers as one of the top 100 influencers globally in Health IT as part of the #HIT100twitter campaign. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, a FedIP accredited Leading Practitioner and a Chartered Health CIO accredited through CHIME.
