Mark is social care lead and national head of profession for social care informatics at NHS England, overseeing clinical governance for digital health products. A social worker by background, he has worked across local and central government and the NHS. Early in his career, Mark helped develop the Sure Start initiative to improve outcomes for children under five. He recently founded the Digital Social Care Advisory Group to guide tech investment in social care and led clinical assurance for the Vaccinations Digital Service. Mark holds a Master’s in Social Work, an MBA and is a King’s Fund Top Manager Programme alumnus.
